Component 2: Theatre

Exploring Children's Rights Through Drama, Debate and Argumentation

Component Overview

The Theatre component offers activities designed to raise pupils' awareness of children's rights through drama-based learning.

By exploring everyday situations, pupils develop their oral communication skills, active listening, and their ability to understand emotions and different points of view.

These activities encourage pupils to reflect on situations of injustice and the importance of respecting fundamental rights.

Plays

The drama booklet includes plays designed for Cycle 3 pupils, enabling teachers to explore children's rights through role-play and real-life situations.
