Component 1: Texts and Images

Understanding Children's Rights Through the Analysis of Texts and Images

Overview

The first component of the EGEE pedagogical framework is based on the analysis of European literary heritage texts and artworks from Europe's cultural heritage.

It aims to develop pupils' ability to interpret literary texts and visual representations in order to gain a better understanding of injustice, discrimination and fundamental rights.

Visual Resources for the Classroom

The visual resources used in the Texts and Images component are available as a presentation.

This presentation enables teachers to easily display the artworks in the classroom and use them as visual supports for analysis and discussion with pupils.
